• Aeroméxico was created in 1938 by the Mexican Government. In 1988, the company was privatised and today offers the largest network of flights in Mexico and between Mexico and the rest of the world, with a 42% share of the Mexican domestic market.
• For more than 10 years Aeroméxico has had a reliability rate of 97% and was the first airline to introduce the first class ticket to cater to the demands of more demanding passengers. Aeroméxico is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance .
• It is famous for its punctuality and traditional Mexican hospitality.
• With more than 317 flights daily, Aeroméxico has a fleet of 96 modern aircraft covering more than 40 Mexican cities, which is more than any other airline, 18 cities in the USA, and 6 countries in Europe and South America.
Duty Free
• Aeroméxico uses its AM* code for flights operated by Air Europa between Cancun and Madrid.
Frequent Flyer Scheme
• Aeroméxico was the first Latin-American airline to introduce a frequent flyers scheme, Club Premier, which has more than one million members.
