The Expedia Group provides Air Europa customers with the Air Europa Hotels platform (powered by Hotels.com) so they can make hotel reservations on five continents. Through this platform, Air Europa SUMA customers can earn SUMA Miles on all the bookings they make when contracting with the Expedia Group. Expedia has a wide range of hotels at the customer's disposal, enabling you to find the hotel that best suits your travel needs.

HOW TO OBTAIN SUMA MILES

  • To earn SUMA Miles when booking with the Expedia Group through Air Europa Hotels (powered by Hotels.com), you must provide your SUMA Air Europa Card number or already be logged in when accessing the booking service.  During the booking process you will be informed of the price and the Miles you will earn. In this way, you will be able to see the price of the hotel and the number of SUMA Miles that you would receive if you chose that hotel.
  • For each Euro (€) paid in the booking you will receive 5 SUMA Miles.

In the case of purchases using Dollars, Pounds Sterling or other currencies, the Euro conversion value current at the time of the booking will be applied, and the same rate as for the Euro will then be fixed.

  • The Miles earned for each booking will become effective in you SUMA account 2 or 3 days after you leave the hotel. Similarly, Miles are only earned by the SUMA Air Europa customer who makes the hotel booking, provided that they have provided their SUMA number during the booking process. It is not necessary that the person making the booking is the person that uses the hotel service.
  • Miles cannot be awarded retroactively if you did not provide your SUMA number at the time of purchase.
  • A SUMA client can book up to eight rooms in the same hotel or for the same dates. If this reservation number is exceeded for the same hotel or the same dates, Air Europa Hotels (powered by Hotels.com) may cancel those bookings and charge a cancellation fee, if applicable. If you have already paid a non-refundable deposit, you will lose that deposit.
  • In the event that the client decides to extend their stay directly at the hotel, the price paid for the extension of the stay will not generate SUMA Miles, unless this extension is made via the same booking platform.
  • If you travel for business and choose the option "Pay now", provided that this is available, you will not receive a tax invoice for the booking, except in the case of hotels in the Canary Islands and certain jurisdictions in the United States. If you choose the option "Pay in the hotel later", the hotel will provide a tax invoice during the stay. If you need a tax invoice, we recommend that you select the option "Pay in the hotel later", provided that this option is available.
  • The SUMA Mile redemption service is not available with Air Europa Hotels (powered by Hotels.com).

SUMA customers are always offered the best price when booking through the channels offered by the Air Europa website.

Miles that are earned through Air Europa Hotels (powered by Hotels.com) are SUMA Miles and do not qualify for increasing the SUMA card level.
