Regulations and recommendations for the passenger

  Before going to the airport

  1. Please ensure you have no Covid-19 symptoms before you go to the airport to begin your trip. Passengers who have symptoms may be denied access at the airport or boarding.

  2. It is important that you only go to the airport with the people you are going to travel, without other companions, due to possible restrictions of access to the terminal by the au-thorities.

  3. We recommend that you arrive at the airport well in advance because due to the different security measures we are taking, the time until boarding may be longer than usual.

  4. Check the entry requirements for your destination country as they may vary depending on where you are coming from.

  Transporting disinfectant gel

  1. Each passenger may carry up to 2 kg or 2 litres of alcohol-based disinfectant gel inter-changeably in their checked baggage or carry-on baggage

  2. The net quantity of each individual item comprising these 2 kg or 2 liters, cannot exceed 0.5 kg or 0.5 liters.

  3. Disinfectant gel with an alcohol volume greater than 70% is not allowed.

  4. The limit for other liquids and gels other than alcohol-based disinfectant gel is kept at 100 milliliters.

  Mandatory use of masks 

Since 4 May, and after its publication in the BOE, the use of masks that cover the nose and mouth is obligatory for passengers aged 6 and over. Only surgical or upper protection masks without an exhalation valve are permitted. We recommend checking the manufacturer's suggestions for making the corresponding changes. They must be worn from the moment of access to the airport terminal with the necessary spare parts to be protected throughout the flight until leaving the terminal building at the destination airport.The following will be exempt from the use of masks:

  • People who have some type of breathing difficulty that may be aggravated by their use.
  • People in which their use is contraindicated for duly justified health reasons, or who due to their situation of disability or dependence have alterations of behavior that make their use unworkable.
  • Development of activities in which their use is incompatible.

Spain

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

To travel to Spain it is not necessary to present a PCR test or negative test.

Health declaration form

If you travel to Spain, you must fill out the Ministry of health declaration form individually or through the SpTH app. Once formalized, you will get a QR that you must present upon arrival in Spain:

Passengers who, during the 14 days prior to their arrival in Germany, have been in a country at risk, specified in this link, must either provide a negative CoVID result or take a free test on arrival, at specific posts.

Sanitary Requirements

Passengers arriving from "red areas" should contact a doctor upon arrival for follow-up purposes and are subject to CoVID-19 testing.

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

It is not compulsory to present a PCR test or a negative COVID-19 test to travel to France, with the exception of passengers over 11 years of age from

  • United States or Panama: they must present a biological test certificate with negative COVID-19 result issued at least 72 hours before the flight.
  • Brazil, Israel or Peru: Passengers who do not have a negative COVID-19 test certificate must have it issued upon arrival in the country.

Greece

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

No PCR test or negative test is required to travel to Greece, except if the passengers come from Spain, Belgium or Israel. The test must have been carried out not earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Greece.

Netherlands

Quarantine Requirements

Passengers coming from the following areas should be voluntarily quarantined upon arrival in the Netherlands, even if they have no symptoms or have tested negative for CoVID-19:

  • Andorra, Malta, Sweden, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Aruba, Sint Maarten, France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, United Kingdom.

Italy

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

A PCR test or negative COVID-19 test is required if in the 14 days prior to entry into Italy you have stayed in one of the following countries: Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, France and Spain

The molecular or antigenic test mentioned above must have been performed no more than 72 hours before entry into the country. If this test is not available before the departure of the flight, it must be carried out on arrival in Italy within the first 48 hours.

All travellers arriving in or departing from Italy, including passengers from EU countries, must download and complete this form before boarding at the point of origin.

Israel

Travel restriction

Entry to Israel into any state other than Israeli citizens or residents, including passengers in transit, is prohibited.

Exception: Passengers who have a specific entry authorization from the Population and Immigration Authority.

Russia

Travel Restrictions

Passengers are not allowed to enter except for the following: nationals of the Russian Federation and their families; permanent residents of the Russian Federation; diplomats and their families; employees of international organizations; cross-border drivers of goods; drivers of international road transport cars, air crews, sea and river vessels, railway brigades and locomotives of the international railway service; passengers traveling on a visa due to the death of a family member; participants, press and guests of honor of the FIA Formula 1 race in Sochi.

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

Nationals of the Russian Federation must undergo laboratory PCR testing within 3 days of arrival in Russia and publish the result of the test via this link.

Foreign passengers bound for or transiting through the Russian Federation must have a negative CoVID-19 PCR test performed no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. The medical certificate must be issued in Russian or English.

All arriving passengers will be checked for temperature.
 

Quarantine Requirements

Confinement is not required for incoming pax if they submit a negative PCR test certificate.

Passengers arriving for permanent employment including Highly Qualified Specialist visa holders must be confined for 14 days upon arrival in Russia.

Sanitary Requirements

A PCR test or COVID-19 negative test is required for all passengers travelling to Tunisia.

All red zone passengers must choose a hotel to stay in during the mandatory 7-day confinement period and present the reservation and payment confirmation document at check-in at the departure airport.

Regulations and recommendations for America

Argentina

Entry and exit situation

Argentina's borders are closed to foreigners and non-residents entering the country. For departures they remain open.

Exception: non-resident foreigners are allowed to travel for work, commercial or sport reasons. They must provide a medical certificate indicating that they have no symptoms compatible with CoVID-19.

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

Sanitary requirements. All nationals and foreigners over 2 years of age must present certification of the specific test of analysis (PCR) for CoVID-19 with negative result granted by a legally constituted laboratory in the country of origin with a validity of no more than 7 days to the scheduled date of entry.

Colombia

Sanitary Requirements

All passengers travelling to/from Colombia must download the CoronaApp-Colombia application to their mobile phones where they will register their health status. In addition, on flights lasting more than 2 hours, multiple mouthpieces must be worn to replace them during the trip.

All foreign passengers are required to have a negative PCR test certificate issued no more than 96 hours before boarding the flight at the airport of origin. If they do not have the required proof, they will be denied boarding.

 Colombian citizens and foreign residents must present PCR test under the conditions described above. If they do not have it, they will not be denied boarding, but they must:

  • Carry out preventive isolation.
  • Carry out the PCR test.
  • Follow the measures indicated by the Health Authority.

Documentation requirements

If you are travelling to and from Colombia, you must fill in the migration pre-registration form 24 hours to 1 hour before the flight departure. It is important to take the form with you on your mobile. It is advisable to complete it from the CoronaApp-Colombia application, although it is also possible from the following link:

Ecuador

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

The presentation of the PCR test or negative COVID-19 test is optional for minors, the elderly, women in a state and people with serious illnesses.

However, any person entering the country without a PCR test must be tested upon arrival and placed in Mandatory Preventive Isolation (MPI) for 10 days. 

The location for the MPI will be designated by the person upon entry into the country.

The Council of the European Union has not yet included the USA in the list of third countries considered as being epidemiologically Therefore, the entry of US nationals, residents and others into the EU is subject to temporary restrictions on non-essential travel to the EU.

Honduras

Sanitary Requirements

All passengers must submit a negative COVID-19 test or RDT test with a minimum specificity of 85%, bias 98% for COVID-19. The test must have been carried out no more than 72 hours before entry into Honduras.

Panama

Sanitary Requirements

All passengers flying to Panama are required to present a Swab Test Certificate, PCR test or antigens with a negative result issued no later than 48 hours before boarding the flight in the country of origin.

Any person who does not have the test certificate will have to take a quick test prior to registration with Immigration, at the cost of the traveller. If the rapid test is positive, the passenger will have to undergo mandatory isolation in a hotel hospital designated by the Ministry of Health. An antigen test will be carried out after 7 days. If the test is positive, a further 7 days' quarantine is required.

Paraguay

Travel Restrictions

The borders are open. Passengers must discard the mask they have worn during the flight and replace it with a new one at the start of disembarkation.

Quarantine requirements

All passengers must be quarantined on arrival in Paraguay for 14 days in their homes or in shelters provided by the State and Hotels-Salud, at the expense of the passengers.

The quarantine time can be reduced to 7 days if the person carries out a test (RT-PCR) with negative result in the 72 hours prior to entering the country and repeats the test with the same result on the 7th day of the quarantine.

Passengers who enter the country and whose stay is less than 7 days (demonstrable by presenting their return air tickets) will not require isolation during their stay, and must have a negative result 72 hours prior to entering the country.

Authorised foreign nationals must be in possession of valid international health insurance that includes CoVID19 care.

Dominican Republic

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

It is not compulsory for passengers to have a medical certificate with a negative CoVID-19 result issued at least 5 days before arrival to avoid queues at the destination station.

Passengers without a medical certificate with a negative CoVID-19 test result are subject to a medical examination on arrival.

Uruguay

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

All passengers traveling to Uruguay, including Uruguayan residents, must present a negative COVID-19 test performed by PCR-RT molecular biology technique no more than 72 hours before the start of the trip.

Children under the age of 6 are exempt from this test.

Additionally, evidence of medical coverage in Uruguay must be provided.

Exception: all passengers who have an authorization from the Uruguayan consulate allowing them to board without a PCR-RT test, must take the test on arrival with the corresponding cost to be paid by the passenger.

Venezuela

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

All passengers travelling to Venezuela must present a negative COVID-19 test (PCR) carried out no more than 1 day before boarding at the airport of origin.

If the PCR is not provided according to the above conditions, the test must be carried out at the destination and kept in quarantine until the results are obtained.

In addition, the PDR test will be carried out on all passengers, the result being obtained after 5 minutes. If it is positive, it must be kept in quarantine.
