How does it work?

If you have a ticket with Air Europa, we give you the possibility to redeem it for a VOUCHER that you can use for future flight purchases. Requesting a VOUCHER is very simple, just follow the steps below.

We know that you must have many doubts, that's why we have collected the most frequently asked questions that we think you might find useful.

  • A single VOUCHER will be issued to each passenger on the reservation.
  • The VOUCHER holder can redeem it in a future booking.
  • With the express permission of the holder, the VOUCHER can be redeemed for payment by the person accompanying the passenger or by other passengers.

This voucher must be used within one year of issue and to fly within 12 months of the issue of the new reservation.

After 12 months from the issue, you can request a refund of the unused amount of your VOUCHER.

  • The amount of each VOUCHER is composed of the total amount of the unused ticket. 
  • In case you have flown some part of your trip, we will inform you about the proportional amount in the e-mail that we will send you once the VOUCHER has been processed.
  • You can redeem your voucher on our website Provide the voucher number during the purchase process in the box AE/VOUCHER voucher and it will automatically be deducted from your ticket price.

  • If you prefer, you can redeem it with our Call Centre agents and it will be deducted from the price of your ticket.

  • You need the VOUCHER number and the email address it was sent to. For security reasons, it is essential to have both details in order to redeem it.
  • You will find it in the confirmation email we sent you from VOUCHER. It is a unique 9 digit alphanumeric code.

  • If you do not find it, contact us through our Call Centre, our agents will ask you for information that only you know and will help you.

  • Contact our Call Center. Our agents will ask you for data that only you know for security reasons and will help you.
  • You can use it on the web or through the Call Center, at any rate, whatever the amount. During the payment process, you must indicate in the field AE/VOUCHER BONUS the VOUCHER number and the email to which it was sent, or provide this information during the call to our Call Center agent in the purchase process.
  • You can use 1 voucher per booking and, with the express permission of the holder, the voucher can also be redeemed for payment of accompanying persons or other passengers.

  • Do not worry if the amount of the new ticket is less than the VOUCHER, you can use it to pay for future purchases until the balance of the VOUCHER is used up.

  • Use your voucher as many times as you want until the amount is used up or until it expires (you have 1 year from the date of issue to redeem it and the following 12 months from the purchase of the new flight reservation).
  • The deadline for requesting the unused amount is 2 calendar months from the date of expiry. To request a refund you must contact the Call Centre.
  • Yes, as a voucher holder you can use it for purchases for other people or, for you and your companions.
