How to redeem your voucher

 

You can exchange your Voucher through our Website by clicking the Pay with AE Voucher on the Home page, or by calling our Customer service department. You will need to have your Voucher number and the email address where you received it in order to use it. For reservations with fares eligible for resident discount (origin/destination Balearic or Canary Islands), you must make it through our offices or by calling the Call Centre (not valid via web).

Frequently asked questions

We know that you must have many doubts, that's why we have collected the most frequently asked questions that we think you might find useful.

  • A single VOUCHER will be issued to each passenger on the reservation.
  • The VOUCHER holder can redeem it in a future booking.
  • With the express permission of the holder, the VOUCHER can be redeemed for payment by the person accompanying the passenger or by other passengers.

This voucher must be used within one year of issue and to fly within 12 months of the issue of the new reservation.

If the expiry date of your VOUCHER has been extended, you can continue to use it until the new expiry date indicated in the mail.

Once the period of 12 months has elapsed from the issuance of the Voucher, you may request a refund of the unused portion of the Voucher, provided that this is established in the applicable regulations in each country of issue of your original ticket. Vouchers issued in connection with tickets whose flight was not cancelled will not be refundable.*

  • The amount of each VOUCHER is composed of the total amount of the unused ticket. 
     
  • In case you have flown some part of your trip, we will inform you about the proportional amount in the e-mail that we will send you once the VOUCHER has been processed.
  • You can redeem your voucher on our website www.aireuropa.com. Provide the voucher number during the purchase process in the box AE/VOUCHER voucher and it will automatically be deducted from your ticket price.*

  • If you prefer, you can redeem it with our Call Centre agents and it will be deducted from the price of your ticket.*

*Permitted for any Air Europa pure flight route as well as codeshare (UX2000 / UX3000). Excluded on Interline, unless it is the same route as the originally cancelled/modified flight.

  • You need the VOUCHER number and the email address it was sent to. For security reasons, it is essential to have both details in order to redeem it.
  • You will find it in the confirmation email we sent you from VOUCHER. It is a unique 9 digit alphanumeric code.

  • If you do not find it, contact us through our Call Centre, our agents will ask you for information that only you know and will help you.

  • Contact our Call Center. Our agents will ask you for data that only you know for security reasons and will help you.
  • You can use it on the web or through the Call Center, at any rate, whatever the amount. During the payment process, you must indicate in the field AE/VOUCHER BONUS the VOUCHER number and the email to which it was sent, or provide this information during the call to our Call Center agent in the purchase process.
  • You can use 1 voucher per booking and, with the express permission of the holder, the voucher can also be redeemed for payment of accompanying persons or other passengers.

  • Do not worry if the amount of the new ticket is less than the VOUCHER, you can use it to pay for future purchases until the balance of the VOUCHER is used up.

  • Use your voucher as many times as you want until the amount is used up or until it expires (you have 1 year from the date of issue of the voucher to redeem it and the following 12 months from the purchase of the new reservation to fly). Once the period of 12 months has elapsed from the issuance of the Voucher, you may request a refund of the unused portion of the Voucher, provided that this is established in the applicable regulations in each country of issue of your original ticket. Vouchers issued in connection with tickets whose flight was not cancelled will not be refundable.

 

  • The deadline for requesting the unused amount is 2 calendar months from the date of expiry. To request a refund you must contact the Call Centre.
