Characteristics
If the measurements or weight of your luggage exceed the limits allowed, your suitcase will be rejected or carried in the hold for a possible surcharge. This measure is intended to improve both your personal safety and that of other passengers, as well as your comfort during the flight, given that the capacity of the overhead lockers is limited.
Because of these limitations, even if your luggage complies with the limits on size and weight, our staff may consider it necessary to store it in the hold at no extra cost to the passenger.
Transporting ashes or incinerated human remains is allowed. The urn must fit under the seat or in the luggage compartment.
Some planes in our fleet used for short and medium haul flights (e.g., ATR and Embraer E145) are smaller, and it may not be possible for you to keep your hand luggage in the cabin. If this should be the case, your hand luggage will travel in the hold and will be returned to you when you disembark at your destination.
