CONSULT OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND/OR ENTRY RESTRICTIONS TO BE ALWAYS INFORMED 

 

Travel restrictions

Persons who have been diagnosed with CoVID-19 or have had symptoms of the disease within the last 7 days prior to arrival will not be allowed to enter Uruguay.
 

PCR tests or Covid-19 test

All passengers (nationals, resident foreigners and non-resident foreigners) must present one of the following evidences:

  • Certificate of complete vaccination schedule.
  • Negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 virus (PCR-RT or antigens), performed no more than 72 hours prior to departure (provided that the passenger is in transit), in an authorized laboratory in the country of origin or transit. Exceptions: children under 6 years of age.
  • Those who have had the disease in a period between 10 and 90 days prior to their trip, may enter the country by presenting in the Affidavit the positive result of SARSCoV-2 virus detection by RT-PCR molecular biology technique or by antigen test.

In addition, non-resident foreign citizens: health coverage in Uruguay, with contracted medical insurance.

 

Quarantine Requirements

Quarantine will be required for:

  • Unimmunised and unrecovered passengers with exceptional entry permit.
  • Unvaccinated minors under the age of 18 years not vaccinated according to the regulations of the country of origin.

 

Luggage

We recommend that you check-in your carry-on luggage, so that there is minimal contact with external objects inside the plane. This service is free since it belongs to Air Europa security measures as prevention of Covid 19.

 

Transport of Disinfectant gel 

The limit for the transport of alcohol-based disinfectant gels for flights departing from the Uruguay remains at 120 millilitres.
