With your Avión + Tren ticket, you can combine plane and train routes to expand the existing network of Air Europa destinations. All your travel sections are included in the same booking with a single locator. You will alsobe considered a connecting passenger, which means you're covered by our advantages and guarantees in the event of cancellations and/or delays.

At  www.aireuropa.com through our ticket offices or at your travel agent.

A single ticket with two "boarding cards", one for the flight and another for the train journey.

Through online check-in from the day before until 2 hours before the departure of your flight. For the boarding pass for the plain segment: www.air-europa.com, and to acces the train you can download the ticket from the website: www.iryo.eu (in the "Manage your Booking" section.) and take the pdf in digital format or print it out.

Intermodal product trains to/from your final destination depart/arrive from/to train stations located in the city (Chamartín / Atocha) and the transfer between the airport and the train station is made using the Renfe Cercanías service (Line C10 and C1 to/from T4. A free transit bus is available connecting T123 with T4). This route is included in the intermodal ticket, so it does not have to be purchased separately, it is accessed with the QR of the same train ticket. You have a minimum connection time of 2.5 hours so that you can make the transfer more comfortably.

Likewise, luggage on train journeys and train-airport-train connections will be at your charge and under your responsibility. You will be entitled to the free baggage allowance indicated on your ticket.

If you do not wish to make use of this option, there are different public transport options not included in the intermodal ticket:

By bus (Airport Express, Line 203) Barajas Airport T1 and T2 to/from Atocha station.

By Metro, Line 8, connects the airport with Nuevos Ministerios, where it connects with Line 10 to Chamartín station. Or, Line 10 to Tribunal where it connects with Line 1 to Atocha station.

We recommend the first option by train, which is included in the passenger's ticket and stops at both Chamartín and Atocha stations.

The train ticket to the final destination is included in the price of the air fare.It is a single ticket from the origin to the destination.

The Business ticket gives access to iryo's Infinita fare with Gran Confort XL seat. To be able to choose your Business meal option on the train, the menu must be booked at least 24 hours before departure.

Air Europa cannot offer special services for train journeys, which must be requested directly from iryo. Only the service for passengers with reduced mobility can be arranged, which must be requested directly from iryo.  They will be requested through the iryo Customer Service channel, by calling 91 150 000.

Yes, but remember that if you need assistance, you have to request it from iryo. According to the applicable regulations, ADIF (which manages Spain's rail network) is responsible for ensuring access to the stations and boarding areas. Spaces intended for wheelchair users on iryo trains are reserved strictly for them. At the airport, this service is provided by AENA.

Unaccompanied Minors, infant bookings and bookings for more than 9 passengers are not currently available for Avión +Tren tickets. For the management of the latter, you must contact the operating company of the route directly.

Seat reservations have to be arranged directly with iryo.

Contact us at our ticket sales offices or by calling our Customer Service Centre (tel.: 911401501). In the event of delays or cancellations, the Operating Company for each route (iryo or Air Europa, as applicable) is responsible for the passengers. In this case, the procedure established by the operating company will apply.

Your baggage allowance for the train journey will be the one included in your Air Europa fare.

For the airline, you can purchase the excess baggage allowance from booking management or at the airport itself, although we recommend using the website, since it is cheaper. For the train journey, check the baggage conditions at iryo.eu.
