You must go in person to the company's check-in desks at least 2 hours before the departure of your flight.
Documents to be presented
Baggage inspection
Before check-in, you must open the baggage in the presence of an employee designated by the company in order to verify the status of the items declared as having special value. Then, you must seal your baggage with a key, lock or combination lock.
Declaration limits
Checked baggage with a special value declaration must be valued at more 1288 SDRs (special drawing rights) and may not exceed €4000
Surcharges
To use of this service, you must pay 15% of the declared special value.
Restrictions
The special value declaration is only valid for Air Europa flights. If you have connecting flights with other companies, you will need to collect your baggage after the flight operated by Air Europa.

It will not be necessary to fly with a trained companion if the passenger can act individually in the event of an emergency and is over 12 years of age on domestic flights or 15 years of age on international flights.
If you need to fly with your service animal, you will need to contact the Air Europa Customer Service at least 48 hours before the flight's departure.
