Residence
Passengers who are not successfully verified through the Automatic Resident Accreditation System of the Spanish Ministry of Public Works must prove their residence status with one of the following documents:
Any documents submitted must be in force at the time of the flight.
No document or supporting document other than those stated above will be valid.
National ID cards and passports will be used to verify identity, but not residence. Air Europa reserves the right to refuse boarding to a passenger if it detects any deficiency or anomaly, or if a passenger cannot prove their residence by means of the resident certificate.
If you are entitled to a resident discount, the national ID or passport presented must be valid at the time of the flight.
Large Family
If you have a subsidised ticket with a large family discount, you must present your valid identification document and large family certificate at the airport. Personnel will check that the name of the beneficiary matches the name appearing on the ticket.
To check in online, you must enter:
- Booking reference or ticket number.
- The first surname of the passenger who wishes to check in. If it has 4 letters or fewer, the second surname must be added.
The time limit for checking in, unless otherwise specified (Lima: 90 min, Caracas: 120 min) will be a minimum of 60 minutes before the scheduled departure of intercontinental flights and 45 minutes for all domestic and European flights.
Avoid queues at check-in desks and boarding gates by purchasing the Priority Boarding service.
You can purchase it during the online booking process, at the airport sales offices or by contacting our Call Centre.
