Special baggage in hold
Do you want to fly with oversized baggage in the hold? In this section you will find the information you need.
Characteristics
Any baggage exceeding 158cm in height x width x length will be considered special baggage in the hold. On the other hand, the maximum weight will be 23kg, with the possibility of increasing it up to 32kg. Mobility aids, musical instruments and sports equipment will be subject to assessment by Air Europa's special requirements team in order to exceed this limit. In addition, special baggage in the hold shall be considered to be any that may hinder check-in and baggage management systems at airports, such as flexible fabric items and/or oval or circular items, plastic film wrapped items and/or bags, and wrapped items or items in rudimentary packaging.
It is recommended to arrive with sufficient time to check in this type of baggage and subsequently take it to the designated counters for this service.

Household appliances will not be accepted as checked-in baggage; they will only be accepted as special cabin baggage or as air cargo if they do not comply with the weight and dimensions for transport in the cabin.

If you wish to carry your drone as luggage, you must send an email specifying the model, technical data, dimensions and weight to the address: ssr.ux@air-europa.com
In addition, it must comply with the regulations for lithium batteries and the characteristics of your hand luggage.

Any device that transmits or receives communications must remain in "flight mode". If you do not have this mode, it must remain turned off for the duration of the flight.
