Earning SUMA Miles is very simple. Miles can be earned on flights operated by Air Europa, SkyTeam Alliance airlines, and any future partner airlines of the SUMA Programme. You can also earn Miles for using products and services offered by our non-airline partners belonging to the Air Europa SUMA programme.
There is no Miles/euros equivalence. You earn Miles for every euro paid for your ticket. On other flights operated by SkyTeam Alliance airlines, earning Miles is subject to the distance and fare class. More information here.

No. Each SUMA passenger earns Miles for their flight regardless of who paid for the ticket. If any of the passengers are not SUMA members, their Miles cannot be claimed by SUMA member or credited to their account.

You can use your SUMA Miles to purchase flights in full (100%), subject to availability. You can also redeem your Miles on any flight purchased, discounting part of the cash purchase with Miles.
In this option there are no limitations and Miles can be redeemed as long as there is a seat available for sale. You can also redeem Miles for products/services offered by our Partners, as described on our website.
If you don't have enough Miles, you can combine Miles and cash to pay, provided the flight is operated by Air Europa and you are redeeming at least 1,500 Miles and the rest is in cash.
Miles are not refundable.
From 2 years old and above. However, for non-emancipated minors, their parents or legal guardians must fill out the registration form on their behalf.

The Air Europa SUMA programme has two card formats: virtual and physical.
The virtual card is available in the Air Europa App when you sign up for the Air Europa SUMA programme. Air Europa SUMA members can log in to the Air Europa app with the same username and password used to access the Air Europa SUMA section on the Air Europa website.
For added convenience, you can add your Air Europa SUMA virtual card to the iOS Wallet app (Apple Inc. ©) on your smartphone and other PKPASS-compatible Android apps.
If you would prefer to have a physical Air Europa SUMA card, you can request one at www.aireuropa.com by entering your username and going to "My Account" - "My Card" - "Physical Card Request" or by calling us on 911 360 200 (if you are calling from Spain). You can also print it from the "Air Europa SUMA Print Boarding Card" section at www.aireuropa.com by logging in to "My Account" - "My Card" with your username and password.
When you register with the Air Europa SUMA programme, you are assigned an Air Europa SUMA customer number, which you can use to start earning and redeeming your Miles. You will be assigned a virtual card automatically that can be downloaded on the Air Europa app.
You don't need to have a physical card to access the Air Europa SUMA benefits. However, if you like, you can request one on our website or by calling 911 360 200 (if you are calling from Spain).
We will send it to you within approximately 15 days if you're located in Spain and one week more for deliveries outside of Spain.
SUMA members can only have one Air Europa SUMA card. Miles are credited to the personal SUMA account of the passenger who travels, regardless of the reason for the flight or service used or who pays for the flight.
Air Europa SUMA members get exclusive discounts on seat purchases. Please check the discount information indicated in the table in the Seats section.

The physical card will be sent to you for free, provided that at least 60 days have elapsed since your last card request. Any new card requests made within 60 days will not be processed. You must wait for this period to elapse before submitting a new request. This 60-day period does not apply for requests for physical cards after you have accessed a new level.
SUMA Miles: these Miles can be earned when you purchase flights operated by Air Europa, SkyTeam Alliance airlines, and other Partner airlines that join the programme. SUMA Miles can also be earned when you purchase goods or services from our partners.
All SUMA Miles credited to your account can be redeemed for flights and other products or services available through the Air Europa SUMA programme.
Level Miles: these enable you to climb levels to obtain Silver, Gold or Platinum status. They accumulate over a period of 12 consecutive months. If you exceed the number of Miles required to obtain a higher Air Europa SUMA level during this period, you will access the new level automatically.
Miles in this category can only be earned by purchasing flights operated by Air Europa or any SkyTeam Alliance airline. Level Miles can only be earned on airlines that are members of the SkyTeam Alliance or on non-airline Partners.

Below you will see the number of SUMA Miles needed to take flights operated by SkyTeam Alliance airlines (Outbound/Return). The number of Miles is fixed and only varies according to the flight distance (domestic, medium-haul or long-haul).

You have 6 months after the flight to request non-credited Miles. In addition, when you join the Air Europa SUMA programme, you can request the Miles for any flights taken within the three months prior to your registration.
It is very important to remember to enter your Air Europa SUMA card number. By entering all your information (including your card number) when you register, this information will be completed automatically whenever you make a booking.
Yes. You must request the miles directly from the partner. You will be required to provide the necessary documents to credit the Miles to your account. If your request is successful, the partner will notify us and the Air Europa SUMA team will credit the Miles to your Air Europa SUMA account.
SUMA Miles only expire when the customer's account has remained inactive for a period of 24 consecutive months. This occurs when an Air Europa SUMA customer has not registered any transactions, either because they have not accumulated any Miles for purchasing flights or products from our collaborators, or because they have not used any Miles.
The start date of the 24-month expiry period is indicated in the customer's account in the section My Miles.
No. Miles can only be credited to the SUMA card of the customer that is flying.
Air Europa SUMA members can use Miles to purchase tickets for themselves or another person. Therefore, it does not have to be the Air Europa SUMA cardholder who takes the flights or uses the services purchased with the Miles.
You can purchase flights in full with SUMA Miles or a combination of SUMA Miles and cash. This combined payment method can only be used for flights operated by Air Europa. Flights operated by any SkyTeam Alliance airline must be paid in full using Miles.
Please note that airport fees cannot be paid for in Miles and are exempt from discounts. Please remember that you must have at least 1,500 Miles to redeem your Miles for Air Europa flights. If you wish to redeem your Miles for products or services offered by our partners, you will need at least 2,000 Miles.
Only when the flight is paid in a combination of Miles and cash will you receive the corresponding Miles for the part that was paid with cash. If the flight is paid in full with Miles, you will not earn any SUMA Miles.
Yes. In this case, the customer or private individual who flies earns SUMA Miles and the company still receives the same Air Europa services with the companies programme.

The personal data collected from registered users is stored in an automated or non-automated file owned by Air Europa with the necessary technical, organisational and security measures in place to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of the data in accordance with the provisions of Spanish data protection laws.
You can access your Air Europa SUMA profile by using a personal username and password that is confirmed when you sign up for the Air Europa SUMA programme. As regards your payment information, any debit or credit card numbers you provide will be encrypted. Furthermore, no more than four digits of your card number will be displayed at any time during the purchase process.
To prevent fraud, Air Europa guarantees the security of your payment card data by complying with the PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council).

SUMA Card Conditions
The validity of the Silver, Gold and Platinum level is 12 months from the day each level is achieved.
SUMA Miles will expire after 18 months of inactivity

3 Booking class Y
4 Gold and Platinum customers have access to lounges on international flights or connecting flights to/from an international flight operated by Air Europa or any SkyTeam Alliance airline. Entry is permitted with a companion travelling on a flight operated by any Alliance airline.
5 Upgrades to Business Class are subject to space until confirmed at the boarding desk on a first-come, first-served basis. On intercontinental flights, 2 upgrades are permitted during the Platinum Card's validity. They must be requested up to 24 hours before the flight by calling 911 360 200. The Business services to which the SUMA Platinum customer will be entitled are all those associated with Onboard Business Service such as: exclusive menu (subject to availability), welcome service and in-flight entertainment.
No. The number of Miles or eligible flights to access a higher level is calculated based on Miles transactions registered in your Air Europa SUMA account over the last 12 months. Whenever a transaction is registered in your account, the calculation period is updated for a further 12 months.
When you access a higher level, you do not lose the Miles or flights used to calculate this level. Miles cease to count towards level increases when no product transactions have been recorded in your Air Europa SUMA account for 12 consecutive months.
The number of Miles needed to change levels varies and is calculated whenever new Miles are credited to your Air Europa SUMA account. When new Miles are credited to your account, the review period for level increases is extended for a further 12 months.
