Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is located 9 km (5,6 mi) southwest of central Amsterdam. It is home base for many intercontinental airlines and has regularly appeared in the list of Europe’s top five airports. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the airport and, if you’re without your own cellular phone, there are Internet centres in many of the lounges. Transport to Amsterdam Airport

A direct railway line connects the airport with Amsterdam Central Station, with regular departures.
