Gatwick Airport (LGW) is the second business airport in the United Kingdom, after London Heathrow. It is situated 47,5 km (29,5 mi) south of Central London. The airport has seen many renovations over recent years and now services a wider range of airline carriers. Its two terminals, North and South, offer an impressive choice of restaurants, bars and cafes, together with elegant duty-free shops. Gatwick’s new free-of-charge Kid Zone available in both terminals is housed in a separate area for your children to play or watch TV.
Transport to Gatwick Airport
The airport is very easy to link to, offering a variety of choices. One of the most convenient ways is the Gatwick Express train which can be caught at the station directly below the airport. National Express coaches operate direct services to London Victoria from both terminals which you can catch from the lower level forecourt. Taxis can be hired directly from the kiosks at both terminals, with journey time to central London approximately one hour.
